Profile Summary
Helios Energy Ltd is an Australia-based onshore oil and gas exploration company. The Company’s principal activity is the Presidio Oil Project located in Presidio County, Texas, United States. The second business unit of the Company is the development and operation of helium extraction plants in China. The Company has a 70% working interest (WI) in a total of approximately 59,984 gross acres (41,988 net acres) and a 70% WI in the four wells drilled by Helios in the Presidio Oil Project, namely, Presidio 141#2, Quinn Creek 141#1, Quinn Mesa 113 and Presidio 52#1. The Presidio Oil project has drilled two vertical wildcat wells into the Presidio Oil project: Quinn Creek 141 and Quinn Mesa 113 (2 miles apart). Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Helios Energy China Ltd, the Company entered into a boil-off gas (BOG) helium extraction joint venture with Chinese domestic liquefied natural gas (LNG) company, Shanxi Wanshengyuan Natural Gas Co. Ltd (Wanshengyuan), located in Shanxi, China.
