Profile Summary
House Foods Group Inc is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of food products, and restaurant management business. The Company operates through five segments. The Spice/Seasoning/Processed Food segment manufactures and sells household products such as roux curry, roux stew, retort curry, spice products, and starch noodles in Japan. The Health Food segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale, and mail-order sales of health foods and functional beverages such as Ukon No Chikara, and C1000 in Japan. The International Food segment manufactures and sells soybean-related products such as tofu, curry products, and functional foods, mainly in the United States, China, and Southeast Asia. The Restaurant segment plans and operates restaurants around the world, including Curry House CoCo Ichibanya, which offers Japanese-style curry. The Other Food Related Business segment manufactures and sells prepared dishes, imports and sells ingredients, and analyzes food.
