Profile Summary
Izostal SA is a Poland-based company active in the steel industry. It is engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of steel pipes, metallurgical products and steel fixtures. It offers external anticorrosive coatings for steel pipes used mainly for constructing transmission pipelines, such as single layer epoxy coatings, three layer epoxy-copolymer-polyethylene coatings and three layer epoxy-copolymer-polypropylene coatings. Apart from anticorrosive coatings, its product portfolio comprises a range of steel pipes, including seamless pipes, pipes welded with high frequency current, spiral-welded steel pipes and longitudinally welded steel pipes; long and flat metallurgical products, such as angles, bars, cold-formed profiles, cold- and hot-rolled steel sheets of various formats. As of December 31, 2011, its main shareholder was Stalprofil SA, with a 60.3% stake in the capital.
