Profile Summary
KOMEDA Holdings Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the operation of a chain of full-service coffee shops nationwide, primarily through franchised (FC) stores. The Company operates through two segments. The Domestic Business segment operates a franchise coffee shop business under the brands Komeda Coffee Shop and Okage-an, providing franchisees with services such as selecting store locations based on proprietary data, providing design and construction know-how for store buildings and interiors, coffee shop operation guidance, manufacturing and wholesale of food ingredients, and subleasing store buildings. It also provides training for personnel, including franchisees, and operates directly managed stores as model stores. The Overseas Business segment operates a franchise coffee shop business and directly managed stores under the brand Komeda Coffee Shop in Taiwan, and directly managed stores under brands such as Kaffe & Toast and Saap Saap Thai in Singapore.
