NGK Insulators Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the environmental, digital society, and energy & industry businesses. The company operates three business segments. The Environment Business segment provides automotive exhaust gas purification components and sensors. The Digital Society Business segment provides products for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, products for the electronics industry, beryllium copper products, and molds. The Energy & Industry Business segment provides sodium and sulfur batteries, insulators and overhead line fittings, equipment for power transmission, substation, and distribution, insulator cleaning equipment and disaster prevention equipment, corrosion-resistant equipment for the chemical industry, liquid and gas membrane separation equipment, combustion equipment and refractory materials, and radioactive waste treatment equipment. The Company also operates an insurance agency business and a golf course management business.
