NICHIA STEEL WORKS, LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of ordinary wire products, special wire products and rivet wire products. It operates through four business segments. Special Wire Products segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of hard steel wires, plated steel wires, steel flat wires, steel stranded wires, and wire ropes for motor vehicle industry, electric power and communications industries, and public works. Ordinary Wire Products segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of rock fall prevention nets, gabion, plated iron wires, and processed products using plated iron wires. Tack and Screw Product segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of torsia-type high-strength bolts, hexagonal high-strength bolts, and galvanized nithia (GN) bolts for civil engineering and construction industries. Real Estate Leasing segment is engaged in real estate leasing of buildings and land. It also sells plating processing and by-products.
