Profile Summary
Oxide Corp is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the optical business. The Optical segment is engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of optical-related products such as single crystals, optical components, laser light sources and optical measuring devices for equipment manufacturers and optical product manufacturers in the field of measurement using light. Scintillator single crystals that detect radiation are used in positron emission tomography (PET) testing equipment for the diagnosis of cancer. The laser light source is used in a quality inspection device for silicon wafers used in semiconductor manufacturing. The products are mainly used in the optical measurement and new field business, semiconductor business, as well as healthcare business.
