PPL operates in the food service industry primarily throughout Ontario and Alberta, and primarily franchises and operates quick-service restaurant businesses under the Pizza Pizza and Pizza 73 brands. PPL operates through the sale of franchise restaurants, food and supplies and royalties. It consists of approximately 622 Pizza restaurants and 103 Pizza 73 restaurants. Its wholly owned subsidiaries include Pizza Pizza GP Inc. and Pizza Pizza Royalty Limited Partnership.
