The Company offers the generation of electrical and thermal power, as well as manufacturing of nuclear fuel. The main activity of the Company is to generate electricity using nuclear power plants. Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica SA operates through two branches, including Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant Division and FCN Pitesti. The Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant Division operates Nuclear Power Plant Units one and two, and performs preservation services of Nuclear Power Plant Unit three, four and five. The FCN - Pitesti, the Nuclear Fuel Plant, manufactures nuclear fuel for Cernavoda NPP Units one and two. The main shareholder of the Company is the Romanian Ministry of Energy, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Business Environment.
