Profile Summary
QD Laser Inc is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of products using laser technology. The Company operates through two business segments. The Laser Device segment manufactures and sells high-performance semiconductor lasers and wafers for communications and industry using gallium arsenide (GaAs) substrates as a platform. The Laser Eyewear segment manufactures and sells retinal scanning laser eyewear. The main products include 1240-1310 nanometers (nm) quantum dot lasers, quantum dot lasers for silicon photonics, DFB lasers for 1030-1180nm material processing and sensors, epitaxial wafers on GaAs substrates, and small visible lasers at 532-594nm and others.
