Taiwan Styrene Monomer Corporation is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of styrene and related products. Its products include styrene monomer, para-diethyl benzene, toluene, hydrogen and steam, among others. The Company mainly distributes its products in Taiwan market. The Company operates through five segments. Plastics segment manufactures and sells styrene monomer, chemical materials and plastic raw materials. Engineering segment provides the mechanical and electrical installation services, cleaning and maintenance services and civil construction services. Electronic segment is mainly engaged in the sales of electronic parts. Investment segment is engaged in general investment businesses. Other segment includes hotel businesses and the wholesales of medical equipment.
